Melissa joined AW Parker, PC in 2019 and is responsible for the quality of all financial statements prepared for clients, whether on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.  In addition to her active input and supervisory duties, Melissa consults with our QuickBooks client base to help them with their QB questions as well as performing audits of their QB accounts.

Before joining our firm, Melissa worked for over 20 years in various accounting supervisory and bookkeeping positions in the construction industry.

Melissa earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Mississippi.  She also holds a degree in Computer Programming from Northwest MS Community College and is proficient in many business-related programs and computer programming languages.  Melissa is CPR and AED trained through the American Heart Association.

She currently lives with her husband in Hernando, MS and enjoys camping and boating at the lake.  Her son and his family also live in Hernando.
